Chris Anyanwu,Emeka Ihedioha Pick PDP Guber Forms

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Emeka Ihedioha and the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Professor Abdulraheem Oba, on Wednesday, picked the nomination forms for the governorship race for Imo and Kwara states under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with a vow to unseat the incumbents of their respective states.
Other aspirants who picked the governorship nomination forms were Dr Yerima Ngama, the immediate past minister of state for finance (Yobe) and his Niger Delta ministry counterpart, Sam Ode; the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Honourable Mohammed Musa Ibeto and Senator Chris Ayanwu (Imo).
Speaking with newsmen shortly after he picked his expression of interest and nomination forms, Professor Abdulraheem Oba, a one time, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, blasted those relying on the name of the late former senate leader, Abubakar Olusola Saraki, to win election in Kwara, saying, “Saraki Dynasty is no longer relevant in Kwara politics.”
Professor Oba bemoaned how the name of the former strong man of Kwara politics, had been reportedly misused by political class in the state.

He said “whoever is using the name of Saraki for politics again is using such to deceive the people.”
