The Governor of oil rich Rivers State ,Chibuike Amaechi has raised an alarm that the Nigerian government is heavily raising a strong militant group in the South South of the country to prosecute the 2015 general election. Amaechi stated this in an interview COUNTING THE COST relayed on International channel Aljazeera monitored by CKN Nigeria today. Governor Amaechi went further to allude the current insurgents activities of Boko Haram sect to poverty. He accused the government of President Goodluck Jonathan of relenting on all his promises to Nigerians especially in the area of poverty education and power (electricity)..Hear him, "they told us that power will be available to all Nigerians by the end of 2013,that still remains a mirage. They have now shifted it to end of October 2014 and we are still waiting". Speaking on what his government is doing to diversify its economy ,he stated that Rivers State is pursuing vigorously the issue of Agriculture .
Meanwhile Governor Amaechi was recently quoted as saying “The situation we find ourselves now is really critical. We have started owing salaries of workers and nobody knows when this will end. Rivers people should know that Rivers State Government now receives N12billion instead of the usual N25 billion as monthly allocation. This has grossly affected our projects and work has stopped in some on-going projects in the state. I am still looking for funds to pay some of the contractors and salaries. Things are no longer the same. Things are getting worse. I am not the problem, it is from the Federal government”,
This man is such a disease
