Abia Government Salutes Gov T A Orji On National Award

PRESS STATEMENT
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Abia State Dr. Eze Chikamnayo has described the nomination of Governor Theodore Orji for the conferment of the Commander of the Niger, CON award by President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday the 29th of September as an honour well deserved.
Dr. Chikamnayo in a statement said the national honour had further confirmed that Governor T. A. Orji’s dynamic, pragmatic and people oriented programmes, policies and leadership st...yle are recognized nationally and celebrated beyond the shores of Abia state and Nigeria. Dr. Chikamnayo recounted that the governor had in the last few months received several national and international awards for outstanding performance as a result of the vast legacy projects in key sectors of the state economy, spread across the seventeen local government areas of the state.
He said the consensus of opinion by highly respected individuals and institutions is a clear testimony that the governor had excelled beyond expectations in the establishment of a firm foundation for Abia security and prosperity.
Dr. Chikamnayo enjoined all Abians capable of making the trip to Abuja to turn out in en masse and accord their darling governor the heroic reception he deserves, adding that no amount of honour, awards or recognition is too much for the man Sir T.A Orji, to whom Abia people owe their political liberation, social-peace, security of lives and property and the unprecedented prosperity Abians from all walks of life are enjoying today.
The Information Commissioner assured Abians that they would witness more transformation in the state as the governor is determined to make Abia a source of pride for all residents and indigenes of the state.
Dr. Chikamnayo said Abia citizens must brace up to the onerous task of state building while resisting the attempt by malicious political wayfarers to distract them from the current progressive transformation train efficiently driven by their God-sent-liberator, Sir T. A. Orji.
