National Conference Reconvenes Today For Final Lap

The National Conference inaugurated on March 17, will reconvene today for the last lapse of activities. The conference would reconvene with a major assignment for delegates to agree on what constitutes a voting majority in decision making on their rules of procedure. The matter caused an adjournment after unhealthy positions and now some delegates and observers are advising for caution and good conduct when they resume.

Among the resolutions to be adopted are the proposal for the creation of additional 18 states advising the president to set up a technical committee to work out derivation percentage and sharing formula  to be adopted in the country

The final report will be distributed to delegates to study and make recommendations if any on assumption for the last lapse of the activities.
