Former Chairman of Independent National Election Commission, Prof Maurice Iwu has reiterated his earlier assertion that eating bitter kola stops the spread of the Ebola virus in the body. Speaking on Channels Television early morning programme (Sunrise Daily) monitored from Abuja today, the Professor of Pharmacology said that research carried out by his team has empirical evidence to back his claim. He appealed for continued education of Nigerians on the disease. He said the recently set up committee by the Federal government is working seriously to find a way of checkmating the disease.
