President Goodluck Jonathan Monday held security
meeting with the nation's security chiefs.
The meeting which is a routine one, is held every Monday.
There was no briefing of journalists at the
end every meeting, apparently because of its sensitive nature.
However, checks indicated that the meeting reviewed
the security challenges, with a view to finding lasting solution to it.
It was also gathered that the menace of
terrorist group, Boko Haram and the way forward in winning the war against them
was also discussed.
The meeting, it was gathered, discussed the over
200 Chibok schoolgirls that were abducted by Boko Haram over 4 months ago and
the determination of federal government to find them and ensure their safe
release.
At
the end of the meeting which was attended by service chiefs and other to
security officers, they kept mute and did not speak to State House
correspondents
