Raypower FM has suspended its popular political programme ..POLITICAL PLATFORM for now due to a heated argument involving two of the programmes presenters MUSTAPHA MOHAMMED and UJU EJEYE while the programme was on air live yesterday .. CKN Nigeria investigation has revealed that the two presenters went for each other's throat during a live discussion on Boko Haram insurgency in the North .While the discussion was on, Mustapha Mohammed whom many listeners of the programme have often complained of being too over bearing and religiously radicalised had accused the military of extra judicial killings in the North. He went further to say, if Southerners were the ones killed, the government would have promptly done something about it. Uju Ejenye on her part tried to caution her colleague not to allow the issue degenerate into a North South issue since extra judicial killings by military men cuts across board. This statement infuriated Mustapha Mohammed who is from Borno State,the stronghold of Boko Haram. He heaped insult on the poor lady and was almost slapping her. Their colleagues on the programme tried to calm fray nerves but he refused. He went further to accuse Uju, of reacting in the manner she did because she has not lost anyone in the conflict. The quarrel degenerated after the programme, as Mustapha Mohammed wanted to beat up the mother of four. His action infuriated their colleagues who white washed the Maraba based journalist who also in charge of reporting activities of Ministry of Works for Raypower. According to them, this was not the first the Northern born journalist tried to sow the seed of discord on the programme. He is known to have always defended the Northern agenda in his utterances and does not know how to draw a line between his job as an unbiased journalist. CKN, please tell the management to bring back the program immediately and fire Mustapha Mohammed since he has lost the sence of his profession.
ReplyDeleteMustaapha lacks sense of reasoning despite his level of education. He is still half baked. Just remove him and continue the programm let him join his boko haram brothersand their blind crusade. Only people with national interest can discuss national issues on media. Bias and myopic people like Mustapha. His people are informants to BH thereby frustrating the military smooth operation.

Want riting 2 political platform 2 tell dem my observation abt him but did nt. Let d general public note dat Mustafa contributes only on 2 topics since middle of last yr. D 2 topic r road n boko haram/militry mostly n notin else. Onces any discussion is abt d north or northen personel, u find him argue so much n aggressively 2. Oda times u may nt hear him talk till d program is ova. PP, pick ur tape 4 d past 1yr n listen 2 find out if i am saying d truth pls. ReplyDeleteThe basic reason why the military is not winning the war against Boko Haran is because the Nigerian military, has become partisan since Jonathan became president of this lovely nation . Look at what Obanikoro has been using the army to do durring election in Ondo, Ekiti and now Osun. The army should be devoid of partisanship if they want the support of all Nigerians. PDP is a desperate party that is ready to destroy all our institutions in order to get power at all means. They have already destroyed the judiciary hence Nigeria is currently a failed state.

ReplyDeleteCan you read the people from SouthSouth and SouthEast Regions abusing and accusing Mustapha? We all know that only Mustapha is the crew member from outside SS/SE. No one from the north is good enough and noone from the SouthWest is good enough. The members are just there to support PDP, support Jonathan and castigate APC and the people of other religion and tribe.
