The
Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Front (NDPSF) and the Niger Delta Peoples
Volunteer Force (NDPVF) have said the leader of the NDPVF, Alhaji Muhjahid
Dokubo-Asari, had no hand in the recent bombing in Kaduna where former Head of
State, General Muhammadu Buhari, nearly lost his life.
The
groups described insinuations that Dokubo-Asari masterminded the bombing as a
lie by some people bent on discrediting their leader.
Addressing
newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday, NDPVF National Chairman, Aladiokuma Hart,
said the allegation was part of a plot to keep the former militant out of the
2015 elections. He however said the plot would fail.
He
therefore challenged those behind the insinuation to prove it by coming out
with facts and figures, adding that same ploy was used in the case of the
abduction of the Chibok girls.
His
words: “We want to categorically state that anybody carrying this sort of
rumour should be ready to stand and testify when called upon with facts and
figures, date, time and (the) venue that he or she knows how Alhaji Mujahid
Dokubo-Asari masterminded the attack.
“They
should come out to the open and stop using the Press as a grapevine for
defamation of character. They are all a drowning people looking for what to
take hold of in their failed mission.
"Your plot to keep Dokubo-Asari out of 2015 will not work. You tried it in the Republic of Benin, where our leader was going about his normal business and you never succeeded.
"Your plot to keep Dokubo-Asari out of 2015 will not work. You tried it in the Republic of Benin, where our leader was going about his normal business and you never succeeded.
"He
is crying foul today; he is the same person that generated the Boko Haram sect.
He has promised to make Nigeria ungovernable and also promised blood bath.
"I
quote him, 'if what happened in 2011 should happen again in 2015, by the grace
of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood'", he said.
Hart
however condemned the recent violence and killings of defenceless and innocent
people of Nigeria in the northern part of the country by members of the Boko
Haram, declaring that such action "is unjust and is not acceptable by the
people of the Niger Delta”.
He
warned that no harm should befall President Goodluck Jonathan, Dokubo-Asari or
any person from Niger Delta as the group would take reprisal actions.
“We
use this forum to state categorically that with all these happenings, scams and
blackmails originating from Buhari and his cohorts, if anything happens to the
President or our leader, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari or any Niger Delta son,
the reprisal action will turn dark clouds in Nigeria. Buhari be warned,” he
said.
He
also said, “We are not and shall never be afraid of the empty threats by the
Boko Haram. The Niger Delta People Salvation Front/Niger Delta People's
Volunteer Force is well prepared for the Boko Haram to any length and breadth
they want it.
"The
NDPSF/NDPVF will stand behind our brother, President Goodluck Jonathan, to run
for a second term come 2015 and call on him to declare his intention to be
re-elected into office and continue his transformation agenda for the good of
the nation.”

Now they want to use bumb attack to exenurate thmslves from boko involvement. Dirty politics.
