Mrs Caroline JK Martins-Ojo |
Exactly in November 2010,CKN Nigeria published a story on the plight of
a family in Lagos that had a quadruplet but were in the verge of losing them
due to hunger.
A good samaritan Nigerian woman based in the United Kingdom,Mrs Caroline
JK Martins-Ojo Iyawo Jesu got in touch with us, seeking on how to reach out to
the family.
We gave her the contacts and from then
onward, she has been responsible for the up keep of the children and the
family.
Four years down the line, here is her testimony Unedited:
''My Babies'', the Ayorinde Quads on their 4th birthday, 17th July 2013!

★ Flashback ★
I stumbled on a story via d wall of my good fb friend Chris Kehinde Nwandu Ckn in Nov 2010, abt a set of quads whose parents needed assistance! Dey were 14months old and at d verge of death! Their father, a panel beater kudnt cope and, their mother was stl ill after two surgeries, their case was pathetic.
I asked a very reliable friend of mine, sis Omolade Zion to visit dem, she dd same day after service. The report she gave me, made me sad. The children were malnourished, dey ie their 6yr old snr sis, parents and d four of dem, making seven, all lived in one unpainted room without any furniture, except floor mat, packed like sardine fish. I recvd their picture few days later, what i saw was awful, dey were kids with kwashiorkor! I became restless!!! I made an appeal on my wall whc some of you responded to, you visited d bank acct of Mr Ayorinde. To d glory of God these kids were lifted from death zone. Thank you all, may God continue to bless you.
There and then i made up my mind not to leave them, dey became ''my babies'', they will continue to be IJN. Their mother was empowered and taught how to ''fish'' many months later, after she regained her health.
APPRECIATION
I will like to use ds opportunity to say THANK YOU to CKN for posting their story on his wall, he intervened at d right time, we kudnt hv bn able to achieve anythn without CKN's post. Many THANKS to my very good friend/sister, Rev (Mrs) Omolade Zion, who has bn managing dem on my behalf since 2010, visiting dem from one end of Lagos to another in order to deliver their monthly essentials.
