CKN Nigeria Condemns Movement Restriction On Amaechi,Oshiomhole (Editorial)

The event of Thursday 19th June 2014 by the so called “ORDERS FROM ABOVE” which forced two elected Governors of Nigeria from freely using Nigeria's airspace is completely unacceptable in a democracy like ours..The use of government machinery by certain individuals to harass and intimidate perceived enemies is like taking a joke too far..Moreso when CKN Nigeria have it on good authority that while... two governors were disallowed from flying and landing in Ekiti, the airport was approved for two ministers including the Minister of State for Defence Musiliu Obanikoro to land in the same airport un harassed..Of late,we have heard of rumours and counter rumours of Coup flying around ,though this has been debunked by Nigeria's CDS,Air Marshal Alex Badeh, but one thing is quite glaring. The resort to allowing an Army Captain "detain" a serving Governor is call to anarchy. Such action means, an Army Major in the Nigeria Army could also wake up to "detain" or prevent the President from moving around freely.Nigerian Politicians don't learn...The ruling Party is unnecessarily arming the opposition with enough fire power with some of its actions...Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians irrespective of party affiliation..The right of movement has been enshrined in Nigeria's constitution..No Nigerian MUST be denied of this right...President GoodlucK Jonathan should call his lieutenants to order and rise above political jingoism in his conduct and action as the father of the Nation..He is the President of Nigeria and not that of any Political Party..CKN Nigeria totally condemn the action of the FG and its agents on how the two governors of Edo and Rivers State were treated.. Such cannot happen in civilized societies.Someone should by now get a sack for embarrassing Nigeria...A stitch in time saves nine....CKN

  4. Fellow Nigerians, we politize everything in Nigeria. Were those APC governors not with their party member fayemi during the rally? What about if Labour party, PDP governors decides to enter Ekiti to as well gv there party member support in the forthcoming election what do we think might happen in that state.I believe the time for other governors to enter Ekiti is not now . Let's leave security business for security personals. My problem with opposition pple, is they always heat up the polity. Remember they started by saying in Ekiti, a truck load of electoral materials was intercepted by security. This the security & INEC denied . This is to tell Nigerians they won't accept the results won't go in their favour. I wonder the kind politicians we hv in Nigeria today.

Goodluck wants to start what he cannot finish...He has stopped using Policemen ,now its Army..i hope he does not get swallowed by this too, because when you point one finger at someone ,the remaining four is pointing at you.. Why is Obanikoro in Ado Ekiti,is he from that State?.. I have some sympathy for PDP before but with this, i am changing my mind..God help us
