Should Goodluck have Cancelleed His Visit To Chibok Today Due To Security Threat?

Security Concern have stopped President Goodluck Jonathan from going to Chibok today as scheduled..Is it appropriate for the President of Nigeria to abandon a trip to console the families of the abducted girls just because of a mere Boko Haram threat...Yes or No?

  1. CKN, I think you should direct this question to Dame Dr Patience Jonathan. Perhaps she doesnt want her husband to be part of 'all this bloods...they are sharing in boronu...' And if he goes to Chibok, then 'na only him waka come'.

  2. The question is unnecessary because he cannot disregard securiy reports. Condemnation of this cancellation should go to security forces.

  6. The president has every right to change his itinary. And its not a wise decision for a president to announce his visit ahead of time to a troubled zone in a gorrilla warfare. I tink d hype was a strategy to distract d insurgents and dia sponsors dat might have sinister motives. In a civilized clime d state gov or administrator is an extention of d federal govt so he can represent d president. Whatever d reason might be, pple shld not criticise d president. Let Namadi Sambo go and represent him. I wonder y d opposition re so interested in GEJ visiting chibok.

  10. He shldnt have cancelled it, for God sake ds is still telling us dt d govt is afraid of bokoharam, I wonder what they expect of us d citizens!! D moment he mentioned it dt he was going 2 chibok for a visit I knew he wasn't going anywhere, y tell d insurgents u will be visiting where they wrecked havoc? I thot a good strategy was for us 2 just see our Presido in chibok unannounced n leave unannounced he wld have done all of us good. Let's leave sentiments n see issues as it is, d president shld find time 2 go dr n save us d embarrasing annoucement of "I dey go", "I no dey go", "I don change mind", "security say make I no go" let him show us he is our leader, dt we can still believe in him, dt we are ready 2 follow his lead if he leads us well. We are not in animal farm pls- qubrat

  14. Why can't CKN go and visit Chibok and give us the full story and video just like BBC and CNN did? Why didn't OBJ or Ya'adua visit the creeks during their time in office when the Niger Delta youth were torrorizing? Why can't Namadi Sambo and Shetima lead the way?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Solo or What did you call yourself? Who told you Obj will not visit during his time, he is not a coward like this wicked and weak man (GEJ). Obj visited Kano state each time there is problem there. He visited Lagos state bear footed during Ikeja bomb blast, to mention few. Let's talk about Ya'adua, and leave Baba Iyabo. Despite Ya'adua's ill-hearth, he was the one that collected guns and ammunitions from the Niger Delta Militants. Solo, leave stories, Jonathan Is a blood sucking demon, but God will deliver us from his hand and his wife that is sharing bloods up an down.

    1. I wonder where u got your story from? When did OBJ or Ya'adua visited the creeks during their tenure in office? What stops CKN and the rest local reporters from going 2 the war zone and bring us live news rather than seating in their offices gossiping? What's the Borno state governor doing in Abuja rather than governing in state?

  17. GEJ will take his security advice seriously & visit Chibok when it is necessary. He is the President whether Nigerians call him weak or not makes no difference but i want to thank God almighty for the person of GEJ bcos at this point of our National history, if we hv a rugged leader in person of Assad in Syria, Nigeria would hv been in ruins. Bcos the insurgents & there sponsors would have succeeded in putting this nation in to anarchy. Lets just exercise a bit of patience, support & pray for the land Nigeria. By God's grace this strange practice will be a thing of the past.
