PDP Postpones Ekiti/Fayose's Rally Over Jos Blast

The  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed by one week, its wide publicised presidential flag-off of Ekiti State governorship election campaign billed for today in Ado-Ekiti, the state Capital.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Wednesday, by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, the party said that the  postponement was in honour of the victims of the unfortunate bomb blast in Jos, Plateau state capital, which occurred on Tuesday.
According to the statement, “the PDP restates that it is committed to the plights of Nigerians in the light of the security challenges facing our nation”.
“Our hearts reach out to the victims and their families and we pray that all Nigerians unite as we say no to terrorism”
“We pray that the insurgents will release our abducted girls for them to reunite with their families”.
