The Media Assistant to the First Lady, Mr Ayo Adewuyi, on Monday said that Dame Patience Jonathan did not ordered arrest of the alleged impersonator, Naomi Muriah.
Adewuyi, in a statement in Abuja on Monday, said the attention of the president’s wife’s had been drawn to reports that she ordered the arrest of Muriah.
He said Muriah attended the women stakeholders’ meeting convened to discuss ways and best strategies to ensure the release of the abducted children of Chibok Girls secondary School.
“We wish to state without any iota of equivocation that the first lady did not order the arrest of any woman or anyone for that matter before, during and after the meeting.
“It is instructive to note that the meeting ended after three o’clock on Monday morning.
“And all those invited to the meeting, including a handful of journalists who stayed throughout the lengthy meeting, left the Presidential Villa thereafter,’’ Adewuyi stated.
Adewuyi explained that Muriah, mentioned in one of the reports, came to the meeting as part of the Borno State delegation.
“The women were alarmed when someone who knew her told the meeting that she was impersonating one of the mothers of the alleged abducted children on the basis for which she attended the meeting.
“The women expressed their disappointment when she confirmed that she is not a biological mother to any of the abducted children.
“Naomi left the State House with other members of the delegation.
“If she was arrested as claimed, then enquiries about her arrest should, therefore, be directed to the security agencies,’’ he said. (NAN)

Patience, you are a satanic liar, you did . God will punish you and your supporters
ReplyDeleteHaba Victory let's be fair and not allow deep seated dislike for the Presidency cloud our judgment. If the article above is to be believed the woman Muriah attended the meeting under false pretences no matter honest her intentions may have been. The place would have been swarming with security agents so it would be careless of these security people not to at least question this woman and if nothing asertain her motives. The 1st lady need not order her arrest. We must agree we are experiencing unusual times in the nation today.
DeleteVictory dear sister ,I understand your feeling about the kids. But d truth is this, the lady can as well b a Boko haram member out to make sure that all there evil plans can succeed. Ever since 1960 till date, have u heard or read issues about blood shed accept sharia law?. They don't want GEJ as nigeria president. These men are evil and can do anything to get power for massive wealth. They said it be4 now, that he will make nigeria ungovernable and that blood will flow in nigeria street? Is nigeria our country or there's?. Its unfutunate that its d poor among them are being killed. Nigeria as a nation has been in d hands of wrong men and GEJ alone can't do it him self alone, its our collective effort that will make things work here in nigeria. Let's all nigeria people seat down and think about our country towards its future
ReplyDeleteLet us put aside sentiments here,GEJ's incompetence is the issue here. Most Nigerians voted for him with high hopes that he will bring in a new order,if he had been doing what he was elected for creditably, the goodwill would not have been squandered, and the masses would get behind him against the evil group- boko haram.Truth be told GEJ is an accident on Nigeria,he is clueless.I never expected much from him,so I'm not disappointed.I just pity Nigeria. He should be honorable enough to quit.
ReplyDeleteAny reason human being wil nt blame d govt on this.must we politize everythng? This is Purely religious 4 God sake. We shuld know that one of d norms is islam is jihad"fighting d unbelievers or holy war" as they may call it,it either u fight or sponsor by financing.no country that practise islam n other religion dat u wont experience it,except d muslims in dat country isnt matured enof in faith to start it now. If we realy meant well n feel as if we rilly care,We shuld condemn d religion,d group n their activies(which is solely killing d non muslims, destroying their place of worships n belongings). Its a global thing not Nigerian, lets say d truth n act on it. This is politics but religious and y nigerian own is worst presently is we hav a non muslim as a president.
ReplyDeleteThis isnt about who is on power, its a global network of Islamic activities "jihad". It has been there 4 a longtime(killing of non muslims)in d north and in other countries. Just that they hav matured n grown wings to challenge d central govt bcos d president is non muslim. It has nothing 2 do with bad govt or leader.I was brought up in d north n we knew it all. Its just dat other parts of d country didnt know becos it wasnt pronouce.Boko haram is an islamic doctrine,no way it can stop except Islams reverse n refrain from it. If u dont lik boko haram then protest against islam!!! D truth is every muslim is boko haram 4get about dis pretence som of them does bcos of politics.
