President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, met with military
chiefs and heads of security agencies to review the recent multinational
cooperation between Nigerian security services and those of America, the Great
Britain, France, Israel and China towards tackling the Boko Haram insurgency.At
the end of the meeting which held at the Presidential Villa, those in
attendance kept sealed lips as it is common with such security meetings.Those
in attendance at yesterday’s security meeting were Chief of Defence Staff, Alex
Badeh; Chief of Army Staff, Kenneth Minimah; Chief of Naval Staff, Usman
Jibrin; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Ademola Amosu. The Inspector
General of Police, Muhammed Abubakar, and the Director General of Department of
State Services, Ita Ekpeyong, were also at the meeting
Everyday 'President Jonathan meets with security chiefs' with nothing worthwhile to show for it. Its becoming more of a jamboree now.
