Advice To Abuja Residents On Movement Restriction During WEFA


To all Abuja residents....A security cordon is underway around Abuja Metropolis and the satellite towns ahead of the World Economic Forum Africa (WEFA) starting from Wednesday 7 to Friday, 9 May 2014. In this regard , there will be traffic blockade and diversion along the following locations (1) Head of Service (Bullet Building) (2) All roads leading to Eagle square.(3) All roads leading to International. Conference Centre & Transcorp Hilton(4) Benue Plaza and This Day Dome In the same vein, security will be beefed up at all strategic locations and vulnerable points and strengthened at entry points ( Bwari, Zuba, Gwagwalada and Nyanya/Mararaba axis ), airport and highways as well as city roads, Hotels and the Conference Venues (Transcorp Hilton and International Conference Centre). Be vigilant in public areas and places, lookout for anything suspicious, and if you see anything report to security personnel immediately – many terrorist attacks are foiled by the vigilance of ordinary people.
