Former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the All
Progressives Congress, APC, has finally dumped the opposition party for the
ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The former minister was at the
Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday to meet with president Goodluck Jonathan to
inform him of his latest decision.
FFK, as he’s fondly called told State House
correspondents after the closed door meeting that he will still continue to
kick against the alleged plan by the APC to field two Muslims as presidential
candidate and running mate for the 2015 general elections.
It
would be recalled that Fani, last year May dumped Peoples’ Democratic Party,
PDP, for the APC, describing PDP as a party that lacks discipline, fairness and
internal cohesion.
He said his decision to dump the party was due to
alleged abuse of powers by the presidency and members of National Working
Committee, NWC, of the party.
