| The scene of the incident this morning |
It was pure mayhem along the Apapa Oshodi Expressway today as petrol tanker drivers blocked the ever busy highway over the killing of one of its members by a Naval officer. Although there were various versions of what actually happened, but CKN Nigeria was told that the incident happened at Westminster area of Apapa. The Naval officer according eye witnesses had an argument with one of the petrol tanker driver which led to his being shot by the Naval officer. His colleagues mobilized and blocked the entire stretch of the road leading to unprecedented logjam. Effort is being made to persuade the NUPENG members to remove their vehicles by law enforcement agents as at the time of filling in this report
To be candid there is room for more to be desired in this country! The root of our problem is that we have lost what made us humans and have degenerated to the babarism of animals! I don't think we know who we are anymore! So i think the solution lies in first of all identifying who we are! 1 Peter 2:9 says "We are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a Peculiar People called forth to show forth the praises of him who has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light". I think this is a good start because a future u can't see u can't become! We can only attain the FUTURE God has ordained for us by catching a PICTURE of our Destiny from the SCRIPTURE!
