Two Borno politicians have been killed by suspected
members of the deadly Boko Haram sect in an highway ambush on the notorious
Maiduguri/Dikwa road.
It was gathered from sources that the two politicians, the Kala/Balge council chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Modu Janga; and its Youths Leader, Alhaji Abba were shot dead by suspected Boko Haram insurgents near Mafa town on the Maiduguri-Dikwa road at 11am Monday.
They were said to be both returning back to Gudumbali after attending political meeting in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital. The vehicle conveying them was ambushed by the hoodlums near Mafa town.
