The Senate President, David Mark, will this evening lead 21 other senators to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan on the recent abduction of over 250 girls by insurgents in Chibok, Borno State.
Mr. Mark, who made the announcement during today’s plenary, said the meeting was aimed at finding ways to rescue the affected girls and end insurgency in the nation.
He said the meeting, slated for 10 p.m., would hold at the Aso Rock Villa.He in company of House of Reps Speaker also met with protesters who were at the national Assembly to protest the abduction of over 230 school girls in Borno state
Our govt really ve a task in securing our porous boarders. How cud over 200 human beings be successfully transported accross our boarder without any awareness or confrontation with security operatives? It leaves much to be answered.
