About 70 people were feared dead in a bomb blast that occurred at the FCT this morning. The incident happened under the Nyanya bridge few kilometres to Abacha Barracks in the FCT. According to CKN Nigeria I reporters at the scene,a car laced with bombs exploded under the bridge where people gathered to take buses to their various destinations. The noise of the blast could be heard at adjoining areas of AYA,Asokoro ,Maitama, Aso Rock Villa, Nyanya,Karu etc .Nyanya/Karu park is also about ten minutes drive from the seat of power, Aso Rock villa,The National Assembly ,the Headquarters of SSS and National Intelligence Agency. This is the first set of pictures coming out of the scene.
This is not a good omen to start a new week. May d genle soul of d affected rest in perfect peace and give their families d patience to bear the pains of their loss.
ReplyDeleteIf Abuja being FCT is not safe again the capital should be taken back to another place
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Northern Nigeria must be separated from the rest of the country. Some sections of Northern Nigeria people and their leaders have no value for life.
DeleteI agree with you. Northern Nigeria must be separated from the rest of the country. Some sections of Northern Nigeria people and their leaders have no value for life.
DeleteI am surprised though u should not be blamed cos u might b one of those stag illetrates. Pray for Nigeria other wise keep ur dirty mouth shot.
DeleteWe are tired pls. If Jonathan is not wanted allowing him to round up, stop killing innocent citizens. Presidency is not only for one region. Pls save our souls...Mr Oladem
DeleteU are correct, badluck jonathan is d cause of all this bomb blast, and he is still contesting for 2015 election, jonathan, you are a badluck 2 our beloved country nigeria, step down we no longer need ur leadership.
DeleteCKN there was bomb explosion in Nyanyan, but casualty unknown, that is suppose to be ur headline.
ReplyDeleteGod should have mercy, what kind of pple is this.that there aim is to destory the life of pple ,is unfair.
ReplyDeleteVery bad this new week
ReplyDeleteThis is really unfortunate
ReplyDeleteMay God have mercy... this beautiful morning why boko harama. May their soul rest in peace
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy on ur pple n let the killers perish
ReplyDeleteThis is very bad, God deliver us in dis country.
ReplyDeleteWhether we like it or not, Bible prophecy is gradually being fulfilled. 2Timothy 3:1-5, also Matthew 24:1-3. God's word will always prove true. I am not surprised because it has been prophesied.
ReplyDeleteTackle ur a Wanka. Ur a religious lunatic,a zombi and a local idot. You don't even ve feelings that somebody is made a widow, childless, motherless or father just because of this bomb that went off this morning. Since you take it that death is a prophecy from ur bible. Death, acidents,Bomb blast will fall on ur families and members of ur family and generation to come. I pray God let this kind of death be named in ur family so the prophecy you see will come to pass AMEN. Local idot like you.
DeleteBut he didn't say anything wrong, he only quoted a portion of d scriptures which am sure u haven't read
DeleteThat is how you can translate evil to bible portions. Call evil doing evil and don't make a reference of it from the bible. If your talking about signs. Even in the bible days wars has bn there. Nations were in wars in bible days. So its not part of it. He should think with his head because I personally can throw him into fire if he makes such comments around me.
DeleteMr man,why are just making unnecessary noise of the bible verse, the guy did not say anything wrong and why are u having difficulty with english?or are u one. Of the people we are talking about??I mean hope u are not a boko harram.becos instead of u facing boko haram u are busy opening mouth on an innocent person...your arguement is baseless...may d souls of the dead rest in peace and continue to hunt their killers down...Issah Allah.....
DeleteSame headless religious idots. I can see you both alike. Go think something better to save ur nation. The problems in ur country is not spiritual so see face it with facts.
DeleteLet Nigeria divide and we will take it from there. What peace do you envisage when the north is still part of the country?
ReplyDeleteUche, ur correct. The north don't want peace and has no value for life. So bad that we a nation of headless men and women and law maker. The same Local idots that put this nation into shit years back are same people talking in the on going national conference ( confusion conference).
DeleteLord arise for Nigeria!
ReplyDeleteSo so sorry to the victims and their families,GOD we need your intervention please sir, mercy on your people lord.
ReplyDeleteGod help us tears
ReplyDeleteit is truly God that will help us in the midst of all this terrorism and destruction #GodWithUs
ReplyDeleteFold your arms, stop thinking and wait for God to come down and help you. A similar incident happened in Kano not too long ago but our security services were , just like these fellows here tasking God, waiting for God to come down and help. It doesn't happen that way, our security services must start thinking outside the box.
DeleteUnfortunate. May God rest the souls of the departed. But CKN, it should be 'adjoining areas' and not 'adjourning areas'. You need to slow down on the frequency of your errors. Thank you.
ReplyDeletemay they all rest in peace. Amen. yes! CKN watch your grammar! the arrows you shoot all the time go wound person o! but welldone
DeleteIt is a pity we have a government that is not moved by these calamities. People of Nigeria no govt can help us. Only in God is our help "...they looked to Him and their faces were not ashamed"
ReplyDeleteSome pple r just so not fit to mek comments, how can northerners kill demselves nd destroy their own land? There is more to these that pple refuse to see cos thery are blind by ethnicity and religion, for ur info its d so called north and its pple that are affected, and there is no religion that preeches war nd killings!
ReplyDeleteYou say no religion preaches war? What does Islam preach? If u can get a soul of an infidel ur place in heaven is sure n what is Jihad all about? Na waa ooo

ReplyDeleteWhat a sad story in this Holy week. CKN I think they never went there.. That's the kind of media we ve in this nation. Thanks for ur contributions.
DeleteMay their soul rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteIf the country is divided it'll b worse coz there'll b more conflicts btw them... God shld just have mercy...
ReplyDeleteYou're right, separation will make it worse, the so called Boko Haram will descend more on the south and east, now they only operate in their region (north), they don't have any mineral resources to live on, so they will come down heavily to south east out jealousy, we should just pray for God to forgive and have mercy and bring an amazing restoration of peace to Nigeria.
DeleteMay dia souls RIP..
ReplyDeleteMay their gentle souls rest in perfect peace, Amen. CKN you don't have on how many people that died, ur figures are so wrong
ReplyDeleteWhere is Nigerian Military? Let them take over b/4 it is too late. The country is tearing apart, we don't like democracy any more. To hell with politicians.

Boko haram will die a natural death if d north takes power bak, BH is d child of northern quest for power as other Nigerians are here to watch d dance steps of d masquerade
U must be among the political clan who benefit from blood sucking. Useless.Nigeria should be ahead of any body.
DeleteThis is a real mess. Wat is d govt doin abt dis? Would they have us all dead? The system of Nigeria is really messed up!
ReplyDeleteLet d president just shut up n stop telling us hez wining d war against terrorism...instead he shud be silent abt it, win and let us all see...to d soul of d dparted,RIP...may God give dia familiest d fortitude to bear d loss

ReplyDeleteTragic. But even more pathetic are the so called grammar police trolling this site with malicious intent. Mind you, this is not an English class. Perhaps you bunch of recalcitrant rats failed to realise there was an emergency and someone hurriedly put up something for you to read, only for you to go for his jugular by pointing out meaningless gaffes. Adjoining or adjourning, did it not occur to you the PCs does sometimes have mind of its own. Anyay who gives a dogs bollocks. Try writing one yourself and lets see how well you do.

ReplyDeleteWhat a horror!! A real shame if this act was perpetrated by Boko Haram... A sheer act of cowardice; if all Boko Haram can do is attack the poor, schools, villages, market places, bus stations, churches, mosques. These are the very poor u should be protecting if u mean well. Shame on u! Do u think the Nigerian leaders care by these acts? Do u think they care or worry about who lives or dies in these incidents? No; they don't care; its not them - they are well fortified and protected. Stop wasting poor, innocent lives.
ReplyDeletesad
