The PDP has described the recently launched manifesto of APC released on
Thursday as a product of what he called “Janjaweed ideology.”
He also described the manifesto as a roadmap to anarchy which he
said was typical of all anti-democratic coalitions and claimed that the
manifesto lacked character, depth and that it completely addressed no issue.
Metuh said the manifesto ranked security of lives and property low
and that it gave no clue as to its preparedness to tackle
terrorism.
He added that the manifesto was a tacit acknowledgment that the APC
might be benefiting from the mayhem and knew more than meet the eyes about the
spate of terror attacks in the country.
He said, “When last year in its first official outing, the leaders of
the APC said terrorism in Nigeria would disappear within 100 days of APC
leadership, Nigerians did ask if they knew the characters in the crime and
their sponsors. APC gave silence as an answer while Nigerians kept wondering.
“Today, the party has released its manifesto with loud silence on the
matter so that Nigerians would not raise further questions on the face behind
the terrorism mask.”
On job creation and war against corruption which the APC projected as
cardinal on its manifesto, Metuh said the APC had no credible recipe for job
creation nor had it shown the strength of character to fight corruption more
than the PDP.
He said, “The PDP created anti-corruption agencies – the Independent
Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission and established the Freedom of Information Act to
further give teeth to the war on graft.
“The PDP-led Federal Government has also shown no preferences in its
battle against corruption as senior party leaders as well as relations have at
one time or another been made to face the law on charges of corruption.”
The PDP is fighting for there lifes bcus the APC is doing better with this manifesto released. Well if we probably have a free, fair and credible INEC I won't be worried for the APC bcus I know Nigerians will give them the mandate to dislodge PDP, this just shows the APC are now acting well managed, wiser in cordinating there affairs. They are not strange bedfellower bcus I can see understanding among them

Don't you guys see the development in the whole of south west. In 2003 am sure you can remamber that PDP and looting of money stole the day iin government. At least am sure APC will steal money but the development is also massive and it deserve loud commendation
ReplyDeleteMetuh should keep his dirty mouth shut,we are not in high school where we do debating base on better speakers who can even lie to give points,we are talking about realities here,it is practical and obvious that South west governors which mostly APCs are leading as d most performing governors in Nigeria, pdp led federal government in Nigeria since 1999 can only show their achievement thru corruption, terrorism, kidnapping, high unemployement rate, consistent power failure, poor educational system including strike every time, high cost of commodities in d land dat leads to poverty and hardship among d people and broad day looting of our treasure by d pdps in government starting 4rm their leaders to d smallest of them dat are opportune to occupy public office among them despise dat our crude oil fetches us billions of dollars and yet dis pdp in their shameless manner could still be saying rubbish saying they created anti corruption body which everybody including d world knows dat they use EFCC,ICPC among others to witch hunt their critics and rivals
