Six People Arrested With Fresh Human Head In Oyo

SIX suspects, including four males and two females were arrested by officials of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State, on Saturday afternoon at Iware in Afjio Local Government area of Oyo State with a fresh human head with blood still dripping from it.
The names of the suspects were given as Adebayo Afeez, Amidu Ogunjimi, Sherifat Mufutau, Taibat Lasisi, Waheed Wahab and Oyeniyi Oyeniran.
Also recovered from the suspects were three vehicles –one Infinity car without registration number and two Mazda cars with registration numbers UA 518 KJA and DE 902 BDJ – as well fresh blood and some tools used in carrying out the act.
Investigation revealed that the shrine where the suspects were arrested and the head recovered had between eight and 10 rooms but had an underground tunnel leading to the shrine from the back.
When contacted, the state Public Relations Officer, Mr Olusegun Oluwole confirmed the arrest, saying that the suspects had been brought to the NSDCD headquarters in Ibadan, while some officials were still combing the shrine for further possible discoveries.

  1. The annoying thing about Yorubas is that they do all this rituals and still live in abject poverty. Can't they learn from the igbos ?
