Nigeria 2015 Global Mobilisation And Awareness Launched In UK

The countdown down to Nigeria's general elections was given a heralding beginning Live on Ben television studios in London, UK on Friday February the 14th, 2014 .

The peculiarity of this countdown is its difference as it launched a project called, "The Nigeria 2015 organisation".

This project which is an initiation of Mr. Alistair Soyode, of Nigeria Arise and other stakeholders from Nigerians in Diaspora Leadership Forum UK is to create and provide a platform of interaction and an inclusion, of a new way of participation of Nigerians to have more say in choosing their leaders in the next elections in 2015.

The Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission had recently announced the elections schedules starting from 14th February 2015 with the Presidential election.

The mission of the initiative is to rally Nigerians to identify, nominate and support willing potential candidates who may wish to contest and represent their people and encourage them to aspire to any position for good leadership and accountability whilst investigating all aspirants and sharing findings with all stakeholders. These persons may or may not be in existing political parties. The organisation and movement works with instituted people's poll to show their acceptance and or rejections of aspirants.

The launch was well received by across sections of the media, civil liberty reps, govt, party reps and sections of the public. The platform therefore invites all potential electorates to register their views and join the movement in order to find good and suitable future leaders for Nigeria.

"The vote and leaders needed in Nigeria is on our finger tips", added Mr. Alistair

The countdown to the elections 2015 will also produces a routine program on Ben television (global online at www.bentelevision.com); BskyB 182, Startime network in Nigeria and broadcast on radio at www.freevoiceradio.com.
