Senator Gbemisola Saraki, younger sister of
Senator Bukola Saraki yesterday led her siblings and other chieftains of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Ilorin, Kwara State capital to counter her
brother’s opposition to President Goodluck Jonathan and his 2015 ambition.
Gbemisola who was accompanied by Laolu and
Tope Saraki; her siblings, was received by a mammoth crowd at the newly
constructed multi-million naira Matchco Events Place.
Addressing the crowd, ‘Gbemi’ as she’s fondly
called, revisited the quarrel between her and her elder brother which she said
was occasioned by his (Bukola’s) disregard and disobedience to their late
father, Dr Olusola Saraki.
According to her, her brother had approached
their father to dump PDP long ago on the ground that he had problem with
President Jonathan and the leadership of PDP at the time but which the late
Kwara political icon turned down She said she had come on a reawakening mission
saying, “the Kwara that my father brought me up to know is not this one. The
one he knew and brought me up to know is a state of diverse people who are very
courageous and hardworking.”
She lamented that the values had been
bastardised while “the few who are not better than us can become local
champions, riding the cars they did not work for and living in houses they do
not deserve, while the majority who are equal stakeholders in Kwara are
expected to scavenge to survive.”
Gbemi called on the people of the state to rescue
it particularly the political, traditional and religious leaders. She also
expressed appreciations to PDP members who stayed back in the party and urged
people of the state to support and vote for President Jonathan come 2015

Gbemi,u are a real daughter of ur dad.
ReplyDeleteIn ur time as a senator, what did u do for kwarans. The moment a woman is not submisive to her husband, she will never be submisive to God. Bukola,is the true son of saraki. Gbemi, when last did u visit Agbaji? When last did u go to the central mosque to pray? U can not defeat Bukola,in Agbaji, talkless of Ilorin. The moment u lost the Govership election,u ran back to the state, leaving ur supporters to cater for themsellfs, not until Bukola, came to there resque, some where giving appointments, somewhere giving cash to better there lifes.U never cared for those people u left behind. U only want to distroy what ur father had built,U only want to use ilorin indigines to get to jonathan but let me tell u,know matter what u do.Its Bukola, that we see as ur father, its Bukola that we see doing what Baba used to do,its Bukola, that we see at the federal level. If jonathan is owing u,go and get ur money but as for the majourity of kwarans,we recognise Bukola,as our leader.A woman, will never Govern kwara. People can talk back at Bukola but not u Gbemi. If Bukola, was not in politics, who would have kept Baba's name and his followers? Enough of u noise. Go back to ur husbands house or re-marry and take care of ur children. As for Laolu,he us a coward. He should mend the fence of the family but he choose to follow a woman. APC,has come to stay in kwara and come 2015,the party will control kwara and Nigeria.
