Ecobank Staff Tortured To Death

A staff of Ecobank, Babatunde Oke has died in police custody after he was tortured to death.
Tunde worked at the Ladipo Oluwole, Ogba,Lagos  branch of the bank had been accused of fraud and handed over to the police for investigation

But after severe torture, Tunde slumped and died.
He leaves behind a wife and two children, a 2 year old and a 5-month old.
It is yet to be ascertained the manner of fraud that could have left a young man who has served Ecobank diligently die under this circumstances.
Ecobank of late has become notorious for the wrong news.
Its workers few months ago complained against the inhuman treatment being meted out to them by the management of the bank.
Also recently, one of its Executive Director exposed some anomalies in the financial books of the Bank.
The fraud is still under investigation by Nigerian Financial regulatory authorities.

  1. The police should be held responsible for the death of the bank staff. This is another case of extrajudicious killing by the police.

  2. Police with problem must they torture him to death how to take care of the childrem at end whould the children group and will be happy with police or ti join nigeria police maybe even at the end the guy maybe innocent they should becareful with this

  3. From experience,I know someone who works with Ecobank suspended indefinitly trying to expose some anomalities for over 3yeas now,&as for our "police force",nothing to write home about,God help us.
