This is
FIDELITY BANK PLC, Owerri (Ikenegbu Road Branch), closed down in December by
the Imo State government due to a contentious debt. Eight branches of different
banks remain closed till this day. With the only branch in Owerri closed,
FIDELITY quickened construction work on another branch on Douglas Road. It was
opened to her customers during the last yuletide season. we heard the banks may
be planning another shot down this month end when Rochas would be ready to pay
salaries.
