Poser:Should Goodluck Honour His Word Not To Contest In 2015? (See Evidence)

Pictures don't lie. This was a statement credited to President Goodluck Jonathan before he contested the 2011 election.. Years later, he is singing a new tune. Should President Goodluck Jonathan be Man enough to honour his words not to contest the 2015 election or not?..

  9. u mean they never did any agreed with him, ur lie. Try to know the fact of it.

  10. I don't even believe he said it and even if he did he still has the right to dishonor it as long as its within the constitution afterall all Nigerian policians are thesame. None of them is different, I don't see any politician in Nigeria that will honor such a promise, they'll make noncommittal promises to win an election so ride on GEJ its your constitutional right. Nobody has ever stepped down after first term before and you are free to recontest if you so desire. If some people have the chance they will even be life presidents and yet they want you to give up your constitutional right.

  13. Tinubu n Buhari wants 2 rule nigeria by all means. Any nigerian who's against GEJ is just being jealous n selfish.b4 2011 elections many prominents nigerians says he shuldnt embaras himself by contesting but he took d bold step, contest n won. This is 2 say apc n its muslims threats can neva stop him,come2015.GEJ will contest n win.he's doing well,if not 4 anythng for d increament of workers salAry by 54% which no govt has ever done n improvemnt in electricity.

  15. No man will make a public declaration to do a single term if there was no secret agreement with a group to do so. He should be man enough to honour agreement. Besides, he is clueless & clearly an under achiever. He does not posses the capacity to run even a local government. Relying on a cordinating minister to do his work without any leadership quality of his, is a disservice to this nation.

  16. Its only those that are blinded by ethnicity an mere hatred of the southerners that fail to see the resounding achievements of GEJ. Barely 4yrs, he has achieved what the past three govts could not achieve. Petroleum scarcity, electricity, roads, Airports, international image, foreign reserves, and still counting. Please ride on silent achiever. Ride on come 2015 and beyond.

  17. APC should stop Distracting this GEJ cos they can't do better. Buhary, Tinubu and Rotimi should leave pollitics n look for how to creat Job with d Nigeria money they have already syphoned. GEJ is on point, let Him ride on come 2015

  18. I can't understand why he should be talking abt contesting 2015. What does he have to show. He is not responsible enough. His party is in dissary. His security systems are faulty because he listens to his timid wife. Refineries are not working.okonjp iweala is deceiving him with big grammar because of her connection with world bank. Stella odua madam no certificate is stealing from aviation sector. All this and more are shocking deals yet he wants to come back
Abeg go and sit down with madam fellow Widows.

  24. The president has the right to change is mind since the northerners didn't let him achieve his plan within a tenure. And why re the northerners and ckn scared of GEJ contesting the 2015 election? And why is ckn trying to heat up the polity, is this how the Press work?

  28. It is quite unfortunate that many of these myopic and sentimental fools supporting Jonathan today , has forgotten the circumstance that brought him to office as president. He was not suppose to contest according to PDP structure that brought him as Vice President but he pasuaded the north , using Obasanjo for a single term and that was the reason he was supported by the north as against Buhari . Am not surprise , adrunkard can renege on any agreement . What I sincerely believe is that Jonathan can never rule this country again . Nigeria don't want a sycophant as their president but a trust worthy man that will not orchestrate impunity for political ambition or a leader that endorses corruption as experienced in many corruption cases under his nose . Jonathan is a colossal failure , he must return to Otuoke .

    1. What circumstance that brought OBJ and the other past leaders into office and why is GEJ turn is so exceptional? Was it Obasnjo right to rule Nigeria in 1999 till 2007 or it was just a privilege? And has GEJ told anyone that he is contesting in 2015? What if GEJ decide to contest does that stop you and anyone else that wishes to contest from contesting in 2015?

  29. This isn't a prove to me..afterall the newapaper might assume thats what he said or add peper and salt to arrive at that..untill i see a vedio dat shows him saying that then i can begin to ...................................................rejoice that GEJ is now a better politician..Lol. some body shud tell this APC fools that the only tin that will stop GEJ from being the president till 2019 is if the world ends before then.

    ReplyDelete
  30. But GEJ hasn't said he's contesting. He isn't qualified to recontest. The North isn't qualified to contest either.
