Pic Of The Day:Oshiomhole Gives Plantain Chips Seller N1,000,000

After his GO AND DIE episode with a widow in Benin, Governor Adams Oshiomhole during an inspection of works around New Benin in Edo State, stopped to buy plantain chips from this little lad and from information, he went on to issue her with a cheque of N1,000,000 to further her education.

    Well, Mr. Oshiomole that's good but not good enough. I rather suggest u create jobs in the state rather than all these palliative measures you apply on indidvidual basis every now and then. There are so many jobless youths, men and women in the state who need jobs. How many individual are you going to give 1m, 2m etc in Edo state? Honestly, this monies you dole out once in a while does not address the real poverty challenges in the state. It looks like merely scratching a huge problem on the surface. Please create jobs for the generality of the people becase rather than giving a child a fish, it is better to teach him how to fish so that he can fish for life. My personal opinion. Long life Edo State! Long life Nigeria!!
