PDP Plotting To Plunge Nigeria Into Religious Chaos..Buhari

A former Head of State, Maj-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari( retd.), has decried the attempt by the Peoples Democratic Party to “demonise” the leaders of the All Progressives Congress as religious bigots.
The former Head of State noted that it was unpatriotic , evil and beyond acceptable political rhetoric for the PDP to foment religious disharmony among Nigerians.
While stressing that the APC never looked at Nigerians as Christians or Muslims, Buhari, who was also presidential candidate for the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, urged Nigerians to maintain strict vigilance against any attempt to subvert the peace and unity of the country.
He added that no matter the antics of the ruling party, “the PDP’s death-knell has sounded, and it will end, just as it began, in tragedy.”
The former military leader wrote on his Facebook wall, “The attempt by the PDP to foment religious disharmony among Nigerians is unpatriotic, evil and beyond acceptable political rhetoric.
“We in the APC never look at Nigerians as Christians or Muslims, southerners or northerners; because, the bad leadership we fight against, the corruption we strongly oppose, and the widespread poverty we painfully lament affect all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion or geography.
“The fact that a ruling party can resort to acting in ways detrimental to national security portrays a party on its last gasp of political relevance and ever willing to plunge Nigeria into sectarian chaos in order to conceal its crimes within the debris of a nation-wide anarchy.
“No matter how it tries, the PDP’s death-knell has sounded, and it will end, just as it began – in tragedy.
“We call on all Nigerian men and women to rise against this malicious misrepresentation and maintain strict vigilance against any attempt to subvert the peace and unity of this country.”...

  5. All the anonymous commentators on this headline are all politically myopic and sentimentally dead because you are insulting a man that is far better and more God- fearing than your failed president called , Jonathan. To correct one of those fools among you, he was never part of Boko Haran and FG negotiation team.

  6. Can't you see how people are defecting to APC almost everyday? Isn't this a clear indication that PDP is dying gradually? Is there any case of defection from APC to PDP? Why can't you understand this simple Arithmetic? Just give up, PDP is diminishing and that is the end of it, let's keep watching.
