I Am Miles Ahead Of All Former Nigerian Leaders In Performance..Goodluck

President Goodluck Jonathan has challenged his critics to compare the achievement of his administration with any other before they criticise saying that his administration has in two years and eight months performed better than any administration past and present in the country.
The president, who was addressing People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts from the north western zone of Nigeria who were in the Presidential Villa on a solidarity visit, said that it is blackmail for anyone to say that he is anti-north, insisting that he was the first to establish nine universities in the north at one time as well as the Almajiri schools to emancipate people from the shackles of poverty.
He decried the challenges of insecurity in the north promising that he will do more for them by the time he gets rid of insurgency in that part of the country.
The president called on the ministers of state for works, education, mines, agriculture and power to give a bit of their scorecard one by one in the north western zone in line with the transformation agenda of the administration..
A former chairman of the PDP and leader of the delegation, Dr Alero Mohammed reeled out the efforts of the administration and promised to support the president at all times.
He also reports that the president called on them to see  the amalgamation which brought Nigerians together  as a source of unity promising to use the national dialogue to cement the bond.
Meanwhile, some of the politicians in the delegation said the visit was an eye opener to what the Jonathan administration has been doing since its inception.
Speaking to State House Correspondents after the meeting  Mr Mohammed Abacha, the son of late Head of State, General Sanni Abacha, described what is happening in the northern part of the country as unfortunate, calling on those who critcise the administration to be careful because it might be their turn and they will be the ones to be criticised.
On his part, Senator Hamisu Musa said it is unfortunate that many Nigerians feign ignorance of the transformation agenda. He likened what is happening in the political space as a gang up against the administration that is doing well.

  13. Jonathan, Jonathan , Jonathan , how many time did I call you. It is apparent that your days in Aso rock are numbered hence you are deluding yourself. You are the worst leader Nigerai ever had in their history. You kept students at home for 6 months , which has never happened in the history of our tertiary institution, you awarded the highest pipeline protection contract to your kinsmen yet we experienced the highest oil theft in our history under your watchfull presidency. Under your administration , we registered the first First Lady ghost worker, where your wife is a permanent secretary in Bayelsa state without working . Pls Jonathan , I want to remind you that the monumental corruption under you had never being experienced befor in this country. Nigeria is the only OPEC member state that does not have a goverment owned power company , go and check . You are the worst thing to have happened in this country and you are a disgrace to Niger deltas And the Ijaws

  14. Raphael and Ofuchi, both of you are always quick at punching ur key pads without thinking at all. Honestly I do find ur cynical comments disgusting and erratic. Raph, i advise u consult someone to always proof read ur comments to see if they are grammatically correct and coherent before u publish them as i find ur ideas embarrasing anytime u try to denigrate an instituted authority. THERE'S POWER IN SPOKEN WORDS, SO STOP BEING PESSIMISTIC AT ALL TIME AND ALWAYS PRAY FOR UR LEADERS TO CHANGE RATHER THAN WHINING TO UR ORDINARY NIGERIAN

  16. Nigerians will only see change when they open their eyes. President Goodluck Jonathan is working but his detractors don't want Nigerians to see it and they are doing that through the help of different news agencies which they sponsor. How many times have we heard news talking about what Jonathan's administration has achieved? All they do is give us negative news.Even when they bring the positive news, they paint it black.GEJ's detractors are working so hard to bring him down, they keep creating all sorts of distractions that will take the people's eyes off whatever positive thing he is doing, rather than allowing us see things as they are, they cry wolf when there is none and go as far as creating a false wolf.
How did a letter that was meant to "call the attention" of the president to the issue going on in NNPC become public? Sanusi said he was doing his job by writing to the president to inform him of the over "forty billion" the NNPC had not remitted to the CBN. After meeting with them and reconciliation was done,it turned out to be 12 billion. Questions Nigerians should be asking is
    (1) Is Sanusi so dull not to have been able to make accurate calculations, how did he arrive at the initial amount.
    (2) Why did the letter get to the public even before the president could attend to it?
    (3) What happened to the actual 12 billion that is missing?
When I first heard about Sanusi's letter,I had a strong feeling it was all a political thing and that much has been proved so far.
How come our news agencies only raise alarm but will never give us clear analysis? Its simple;they are either being funded by PDP supporters or APC. Its so sad that foreign news agencies are the ones who sit down to do a clear analysis of issues in Nigeria.
For instance, how many Nigerians know that the 12 billion they finally arrived at is not necessarily cash? What Sanusi simply did was to check the amount of oil documented to have left our oilwells and then calculate how much the returns is supposed to be in cash. Some of these oil will be taken by the oilwell owners, to other neighboring country to sell even after government have payed subsidy on it.Some were stolen by big time oil thieves. Nigerians need to be vastly informed and not take whatever our news agencies spill out hook, line and sinker.
