He, therefore, warned that anyone planning to destroy the country would
fail.
Clark, a former Minister of Information, insisted that the constitution
permitted Jonathan to run twice, adding that as a lawyer who had practised for
50 years, he laughed when educated people said Jonathan could not run because
he has been sworn-in twice.
Clark said this when the Federal Capital Territory chapter of
South-South community leaders, chiefs and elders visited him at his residence
in Abuja.
He disclosed that former President Olusegun Obasanjo imposed former
President UmaruYar’Adua on Nigeria.
Clark noted that since Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief Adekunle Ajasin
died, the Yoruba had no leaders, adding that (a former Governor of Lagos
State), Bola Tinubu was only wasting his time moving about calling himself the
Yoruba leader.
He said, “Any person fighting Jonathan is fighting God. Whatever God
says you will be, that is what you will be and whoever wants to remove him
(Jonathan) God will fight him. By the grace of God, Jonathan became the acting
President and later President. What is yours, nobody can take it from you.
“Some people say that they must rule and if Jonathan runs (for another
term) there will be bloodshed. Majority of the northerners believe in Jonathan
and want him to continue.”
Old fool. How can you equate johnathan with almighty God. You can say what you think. 2015 will tell.
