Former
Governor of Bauchi State, Adamu Mauzu, who is also the chairman of the National
Pension Commission (Pencom), might have been tipped as the next national
chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party to replace Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.
Sources
said that the president had resolved to intervene in Mauzu’s quarrel with the
incumbent Governor of Bauchi, Isa Yuguda.
Alhaji
Tukur has been having a running battle with several members of the Party which
led to the departure of five governors of the Party to the APC.
It
was learnt that President Goodluck Jonathan has finally decided to do away with
Tukur in order to save the Party from further humiliation and drift
