22 members of Kwara state House of Assembly today
defected to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
The
Speaker of the Assembly, Rasak Atunwa announced the defection at a plenary on
today.
Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed and former governor of the
State Bukola Saraki, had earlier defected to the APC with four other former PDP
governors.
With the latest development, PDP has become the minority
Party in the House.
The Kwara lawmakers are following the footsteps of
their other colleagues in Sokoto,Rivers and Kano House of Assembly
