Sesan Ogunro MD Eminent Comms,Shot Dead

An advertising guru Mr Sesan Ogunro,the MD of Eminent Communications in Lagos, an advertising company situated at 14 Ezekiel street off Toyin Street Ikeja was last night shot to death in Lagos.

A graduate of Journalism with experience spanning over 26 years. He has worked with NIGERIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION,GRANT AND INSIGHT COMMUNICATIONS.  He wrote and conceptualized such successful commercials as MILO, NIDO, NESCAFE, MAGGI RANGE, BLUE BAND MARGARINE, COWBELL, SDP POLITICAL, CAMPAIGNS, M.K.O. ABIOLA PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN, ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU’S GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN AND FASHOLA’S GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN.  Most of his works have won awards.

·         He is a fellow of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).

·         Past Chairman of the Advertising Standards Panel (ASP) of APCON.

·         Current Chairman Membership & Privileges Committee APCON

·         Current Chairman Professional Practice Committee, AAAN.

A well established member of APCON, easy going, simple and full of humour was shot in front of his church after the Xmas carol, in the presence of his wife , children and grand children yesterday.

The entire staff at the Ikeja outfit were seen mourning when CKN Nigeria crew visited the agency this morning. More details later.
