Prof Kunle Lawal,a former Head of Department of History,Lagos State University has died.He died last night in his hometown Badagry after a brief illness. Until his death,Prof Lawal served as Lagos State Commissioner of Education,under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ..He was also a deputy Gubernatorial candidate to Mr Jimi Agbaje .His last point of call was the University of Ibadan..He is expected to be buried today according to Muslim rites.
