Mariah Carey on arrival In Lagos for the concert |
Access Bank that allegedly ran
Intercontinental Bank under and then went ahead to acquire it for peanut, is paying
Mariah Carey a whopping N200m to perform at its Christmas party cum farewell
bash for its Managing Director.
This fragrant waste of fund has infuriated some staff of the Bank who
felt the amount could have been used to better their condition.
Some of the staff of the Bank who spoke with CKN Nigeria said they were
miffed when they discovered the amount being paid the American artiste who is
no longer relevant in the music scene to perform for some minutes.
According to them, this is just one of the many ways the Bank Management
has been wasting depositors fund without due diligence.
They are wondering what value Mariah Carey will add to the fortunes of
the Bank.
The current MD of the Bank is expected to retire at the end of this
year.

ReplyDeleteI don't transact with the bank, but this mornin, I entered into its branch @ Awolowo way ikeja, though thr's no quee (I'm impressed), but with only 1 person in my front, it took d staff over 20mins to attend to him, and more than 10mins to attend to me for simple cash deposit. Honestly, the staffs look dull (mayb cos of the welfare) and mayb the systems they're usin re out of date. Just like the staff said, they shld ve used d money 4 welfare nd oda important tinz or even invite a 9ja artist that'll collect far more behind 200m
