Mimiko Mourns,Wept At Deji Falae's Burial

Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has described the late Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the state, Barrister Deji Falae has a well bread, humble and dedicated young man with unusual zeal for work.

The remains of the   commissioner who died in a plane crash was laid to rest in Akure his home town yesterday.
He died in the ill-fated Associated airline that crashed in lagos while conveying the body of the late former governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Agagu to Akure  on the 3rd of last month.
A funeral service was held in his honour at the Anglican Cathedral Church of Saint David, Ijomu Akure, where the State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, his wife Olukemi and the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who was represented by his commissioner for integration and inter-governmental affairs, Mr Funminiyi Afuye and the colleagues of the deceased in the executive council among other dignitaries were in attendance.
Speaking  with journalists shortly after the interment at the church cemetery, Governor Olusegun Mimiko described the late commissioner as a humble, passionate and very hardworking,government official, who had recorded an unprecedented achievement in the ministry assigned to him.
He said "Essentially Deli Falae was a young man, well bread, he was humble, knowledgeable, dedicated and he had this unusual zeal for work and he was a man who cared for everybody no matter your status in life, especially he had a deep concern for the underprivileged in the society. 
 "He came on board as commissioner for culture and tourism and within the short period, he was able to add a lot of values to the system. He was very dear to every  member of the cabinet, Ondo State will miss him"
In his sermon titled "Heaven is our home", the Bishop of Akure Diocese, the Rt. Revd Simeon Borokini described heaven as the home of every human being either rich or poor, saying that "we are here for a while, heaven is our permanent home.
The cleric who enjoined the people to  emulate Jesus Christ by being righteous at all times, noted that no amount of accumulated wealth or position would stop death, saying that everybody will die one day

  1. We join the government of Ondo State & the family of Falae to mourn the loss of their dear son & commissioner. Our heart also goes to his widow he left behind, may God almighty give u the heart to bear this irreparable loss in Jesus name Amen. It is well with you Madam Ese Falae. God will give you the strength to carry on. (It hurts so much **sobs**)
