Gunmen Kill 30 Wedding Guests In Borno

Gunmen have attacked a wedding convoy in Nigeria's northeastern state of Borno, killing more than 30 people including the groom in a suspected ambush, witnesses and survivors said on Sunday.
The attack happened on Saturday on the notorious Bama-Banki road when the wedding party was making its way back to the state capital Maiduguri after the ceremony in Michika, in nearby  Adamawa State, they said.

  12. The weeding shouldn't hv take place in that local Gov that characterized with insecurity, A state currently under the state of emergency, even if the weeding must take place there, it should hv been don in LOW KEY, & I guess the Groom or Bride family must hv unknowingly invested or informed one of the Gboko guys about the weeding, pls dis should serve as warning to the rest of the people living in that area, infact in the entire State of Borno, that intend getting married, pls CELEBRATE UR MARRIAGE IN LOW KEY UNTIL THE STATE OF EMERGENCY IS OVER, can we all imaging a weeding ceremony turn Mass burial ceremony, May their soul Rest in perfect peace.
