CKN Nigeria Verdict: Anambra State Guber Election Is Flawed

Observation From Anambra Election:We have in the past have covered and monitored Elections in several States, but i will be bold to that announce that what we witnessed in Anambra State today is the most flawed election ever conducted under the Prof Jega INEC..Materials were not available in most of the observed constituencies..It was like there was a deliberate attempt to de-franchise some voters in the State..Election materials did not arrive till 2.00pm..Even the PDP candidate in the election Tony Nwoye did not find his name in the voters list with that of his entire family..Some parties by our observation were short changed ,its obvious there was a deliberate attempt probably by INEC to impose certain candidates..The only Party not complaining for now seems to be APGA. No proper election was held in Idemili,a strong hold of the opposition..As we stated in our earlier report over 8 hours ago, even the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the State confirmed problems within Obosi ..According to him, electoral materials did not arrive the area till past three, hours when accreditation ought to have ended at 12.00noon.He confirmed that the EO in the area was to be blamed for the hiccups and that he has been arrested by the Police.Thousands of Anambarians were surely prevented from voting today.Under this circumstances,it will be difficult to see the type of result to be announced by INEC as attention shifts to the collation center in Awka...We ll keep you posted with developments
