Redeemer University Students Cry Out Over Robbers

The students of Redeemer University owned by the Redeem Christian Church of God have cried out over the incessant robbery attacks which have become a daily routine in the University in recent time.This was contained in an Save Our Soul letter sent to CKN Nigeria by some students of the Institution.According to them, armed robbery has become a weekly affair in the institution and the authorities are fully handicapped..The students say they hardly sleep these days over the robbery incident which is taking a dangerous dimension.This has put fears in the students who are no longer concentrating in their studies.They hardly sleep in their hostels while some have resorted to coming from home.Mostly affected are the female hostels and female students.We learnt that the parents of the student are now poising for a showdown with the authorities of the Institution..Redeemer University is one of the private Universities that charges very high school fees in the country running into thousands of Naira..CKN Nigeria attempt to speak with authorities of the institution on this dangerous development was unsuccessful as at the time of going to press.
