The supervising Minister of Education, Chief Nyesom Wike,
has constituted five committees to take charge of various assigned
responsibilities for the burial of the mother of Mrs. Jonathan.
A statement signed by the Secretary of the publicity
committee, Mr. Jerry Needam, listed the committees as mobilisation, headed by
the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Felix Obuah;
transport, chaired by former chairman of the Rivers State Tourism Board, Hon.
Chukwuemeka Woke; and medical headed by Dr. Chike Princewill.
Others include accommodation and publicity committees headed
by former Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Boma Iyaye, and former Commissioner for
Information, Hon. Emma Okah, respectively.
