How Ondo State Government Hired Crashed Airline

The ill fated Associated Airline plane crash involving family members and friends of Late Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu may have been avoided after all if the Ondo State Government had not been so incessant on the early arrival of the body yesterday.
According to a family member of the late Governor who spoke to CKN Nigeria today on condition of anonymity, the family of the late governor had arranged to take the corpse to Ondo State in a motorcade yesterday morning.
But the Ondo State government for reasons best known to them aborted that plan at the last moment.
It went ahead to charter the crashed plane.
The body and over 40 selected friends and family were therefore selected to accompany the corpse with the plane.
According to her, on getting to the airport, we realized that the plane hired was a smaller plane, which had a capacity for about 20 people.
Even while at the airport, they continued to call us from Akure, asking us to bring the corpse quickly that the governor was waiting.
We were wondering why the rush, it was not until later that it dawned on us that yesterday was also the birthday of the governor.
It was at the airport that we decided that few us should accompany the corpse because of the size of the plane while the others will go by road.
My brother, if not by the grace of God, I probably would have been one of those who probably would have died in the crash.
When we heard about the crash, we rushed to the venue and were shocked by what we saw, thank God the life of his son was spared.
It was only God that saved us she said, if not the casualty would have been much higher than this.
I pray for the souls of those who lost their families in that accident.

The corpse left Lagos this morning for his home town by road.

  1. Rubbish,if they had gone by road more people would have died cos an accident would still have occurred,if lives are not lost then his body won't be burried. All these people and the evils they involve themselves in; lives must be lost b4 they can be buried. They dine with d devil and go into diverse covenants. Of course there's no way his son could have died,he wasn't supposed to.mtseew. God is watching.

  2. They felt that there was no good road to convey expensive coffin so decided to chatter the plane. If the man had constructed a good road while he was a governor they would not ever think of flying the corps home.I sincerely condole with families that lost their beloved ones but for the ex-governor................................!
