How Come Nigeria Never Had A Willing President ? (CKN Opinion)

How come no single Nigerian leader has voluntarily agreed to rule Nigeria..Lets go back,Abubakar Tafawa Belewa was an unwilling leader,Aguiyi Ironsi didn't want to be Head of State but was forced to do so,because he was the highest ranking Military officer then,..Gen Yakubu Gowon was not also willing to rule but was forced by his friends from the North in the Military,Gen Murtala Mohammed was not also ready but his friend in the military convinced him..Gen Olusegun Obasanjo wanted Gen Danjuma to take over after Murtala's death, but was prevailed to hold forth..Shehu Shagari was contented with his job but the Northern Oligarchy insisted on him..Gen Muhammadu Buhari said he didn't want the job after the coup, infact he was not part of it,but he was forced to take up the job..I don't know if IBB was forced too,but Shonekan was also forced to take over leaving his UAC job..That of Abacha i cannot ascertain. But Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar, said he was not ready to take over from Abacha but the Military guys saw in him a stabilizer and asked him to take up the job..Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was contended with his Otta Farm,Alex Ekwueme was the man after the job,but IBB and his fellow wise men bankrolled Obj and placed him on the job...Are you aware that Yar'Adua wanted to go back to his teaching job until Obj insisted against all odds to impose him on Nigerians..What of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan?..The man from Otuoke,Bayelsa believed he had enough good luck being Governor of Bayelsa and wanted to restrict himself to Yenogoa untill this same Obj chose him to be Yar'Adua's VP ,infact he said he will not seek the Presidency and the rest is history...How come Nigeria never for once had a willing President like other Nations..Could that be the reason (s) for all our woes?..CKN

  1. Possibly it could be because they are being influenced by ''extraordinary'' or higher power.

  2. Our problem in Nigeria is Godfatherism, our leaders are been chosen by God fathers of one possition or the other. May God save us all 4rm their hands so dat we can be ruled by good leaders nd not egocentric leaders.
