Fake Colonel Arrested In Ogun For Impersonating Goodluck's ADC

A fake army colonel has been arrested by men of the Ogun State police command for allegedly parading himself as the Aide De Camp (ADC) to President Goodluck Jonathan.
The suspect, identified as Hassan Ayinde, 50, was said to have been nabbed at the palace of the Alagbado of Agbado, Oba Adedayo Shyllum.
It was learnt that the fake colonel had gone to the traditional ruler on Monday to solicit for money to purchase a ram to perform rites for this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration and sensing foul play, the traditional ruler alerted the police who subsequently arrested the suspect.
The state police public relations officer, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the arrest of the fake colonel, said the suspect hailed from Ifelodun local government area of Osun State.
He said a fake identity card was recovered from the suspect and that further investigation revealed that Ayinde was a dismissed Air Force officer who had allegedly worked at the residency.
“The suspect was arrested in the palace of Alagbado of Agbado His Royal Highness Oba Adedayo Shyllum on Monday October 14, at about 1400hrs when he claimed to be a colonel and the ADC to the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and was soliciting for help to buy ram for sallah.
“On interrogation, Hassan confessed to be a dismissed Air Force officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria but parades himself as a colonel to make ends meet. He said he attended the military school in 1979 and was posted to Zuru Kebbi State as last corporal; and that he attended the Nigeria Defence Academy in 1980 and passed out in 1985.
“The fake colonel said he worked with the Presidency in 1997 before he was dismissed in the year 1999 as a Wing Commander,” Adejobi said.

The police spokesman stated that the suspect would be charged to court at the end of on-going investigation.

Very poor conduct! Has shown why he was dismissed in the very first place.

  2. That's to show the level of poverty in Osun State. A former Wing Commander, can not make ends meet. Just to buy ram!

Aregbesola is busy merging schools while his people are dying of hunger. Create job for your people and leave Christians schools for them.
