500 Nigerian Pilgrims Duped Of Millions Of Naira..Couldn't Perform Hajj

Some Successful Nigerian pilgrims
The hope of about 500 intending Pilgrims to the holy land in Mecca was dashed yesterday when on arriving the airport they realized that the travel agent they paid between N700,000-N1.2m each for their hajj operation scammed them and disappeared into thin air..The alleged agent known as Al irshad Concept Ltd or obinja hajj and umrah disappeared after collecting millions of Naira from his victims without providing an aircraft and other relevant facilities..He is also in possession of all their passports and other traveling documents. The authorities in Saudi finally closed its airspace to all intending pilgrims yesterday..We learnt this has become a recurring problem..A similar incident happened last year with another agent although it was under reported..

    1. Nigeria is a very porous society where you can do anything and go unpunished. I believe the authorities can still track the culprits down and met out the appropriate punish on them. We can't continue this way. The Police and bank should act immediately to expose those behind this barbaric act.
