The Minister of State for Education, Chief Nyesom Wike,
has described Rotimi Amaechi’s government in Rivers State as fraudulent. He
asked the governor to pack and go and that he is no longer sleeping, as he
(Wike) promised him.
He also declared that he would not
allow Amaechi, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF),
to open a secretariat of the parallel Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers
State, not even in Government House, Port Harcourt.
Wike, a two-term Chairman of
Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, stressed that Amaechi is not
God and cannot be God, while teasing him that the condition he gave President
Goodluck Jonathan to remove him as a minister did not work.
He stated these yesterday evening at
the playground of the Girls’ Secondary School, Abonnema of Kalabari Kingdom,
the headquarters of the coastal Akuku-Toru LGA of River state, at the LGA and
Wards (17) inauguration of the Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI), of
which Wike is the grand patron.
There was a thanksgiving service
earlier at the same venue, with the minister of state for education, whom
sources said would soon be made a senior minister, arriving the venue at 4:41
pm, in an Aero helicopter, marked BN-BHG, which left immediately.
Wike immediately proceeded to the
nearby palace of the Amanyanabo (monarch) of Abonnema, King Gbobo Disrael
Bobmanuel, on a courtesy visit, with the royal father asking the minister to
give the ancient town a federal secondary school.
The minister of state for education
returned to the playground at 5:41 pm for the inauguration, while the chopper
returned at 5:50 pm, but had to wait till the end of the programme.
Wike, a former Chief of Staff,
Government House, Port Harcourt, was also the Director-General of the Amaechi
Campaign Organisation in 2011, before being appointed as a minister, while he
and Amaechi are both Ikwerre.

ReplyDeleteThis man, wicked Wike, looks more like a devil incarnate whose only assignment from the presidency is to disturb Rivers state. Very soon, I am very sure, he will be subsumed and buried in the same grave he is digging for Amaechi. I don't know why, but Jonathan is associating more with militants than with Nigerian electorates, and encouraging them to be abusive. Am talking of Wicked Wike, Clark, Asari, Fasheun, Mustapha; the last three have now ganged up to form a pressure group, whose real hidden aim is to work for Jonathan's election in 2015 through gun thuggery and massive rigging and looting of votes. Can somebody please tell Jona that Nigerians will never, in this life, allow militants and war mongers to put him in office as President.

If Amaechi, is that bad like he is painting the God fearing man, would he have Ѡ♡ŔҠ as his DG in 2011 elections. Wike is a betrayer who needs to be flogged 100 lashes. GEJ govt has brought nofin but pains and affliction to the people of naija.. A lot of innocent life taken in the north and it took Mr. President forever to take a decisive action. Even promises made b4 the fuel price increment and not fullfiled. Some selected few are benefiting cos they have people at the corridors of power. Wike!! As a Minister of State for Education, u only good at making noise. God is watching u all... For christ sake give us good governance instead of this turmoils u people are instigating in our beloved country Naija.... We need all PDP blood to be flushed out of the Nigeria Blood stream... DeleteDoes it matter, when u see good thing you say it. Wike has oil well and that's why he is making noise. Amaechi's achievements are greater than Odili. Why not commend him for that. Wike is fighting his friend just for selfish interest. Meanwhile, we sighted GEJ with Amechi at PH airport three days back, where Amaechi was welcoming him to the state. Can u believe that, after all the public noice making and the problem in PDP. In politics, no permanent friend nor enemy but permanent interest. They still club together, drink together and even fly together. Wike cannot be measured with Amaechi both in office and outside office. Amaechi should be praised for his achievements in River state. People don't value what they have till the loose it. Help me tell GEJ that presidential sit is not a do or die issue. Let him step outside let's try others. And to u readers, stoping selling your vote for money and later come and start complaining. Biko!

DeleteThe truth of the current circumstance is that we from the south south can betray ourselves for selfish gain . Of all the agriecpve governors, GED could only find betrayal from River state, hence he decided to sack ministers that refuse to betray governors that nominated them but are not in good terms with GED. Shame on wicked Wike because Rivers are wise and enlightened people that will not allow a wicked mediocre like Wike to rule them.
