Poser..Is Goodluck Jonathan,Nigeria's Best President Ever As Claimed By His Aides?

Since he took over the mantle of leadership of the country pre 2011 and the eventual election in 2011 that gave him the full mandate to preside over the affairs of the country,it has been a function of The GOOD,The BAD as well as The UGLY.Some have praised him for his giant strides while many more sees him as a none achiever ,who does not know what to do with the enormous power willing given him by his country men and women. To others especially within  the opposition Parties,he remains a kindergarten politician. But the song on the lips of all his aides are that President Goodluck Jonathan is the best and will be the best President Nigeria ever had. They point out his achievements in the area of Power,Transportation,Health,Roads,Infrastructural development and relative stability in the polity as glaring sign of a man who is ready to leave his marks in the sand of time..Our question today,do you agree with President Goodluck Jonathan's aides assertion that he will be the Best President Nigeria ever had.Do you see Goodluck Jonathan as having the rudiments of a great leader .If you were to score his performance in terms of percentage, what percentage would you score Nigeria's current President?

    1. GEJ is the greatest dissapointment of a president for me. We stuck out or neck to vote for him, rather than cause change? He decided to boost corruption and endlessly empowered millitants. He surrounded himself with sycophants from nija delta who were no where to be found during his election.

He has a lot to do to become a good president not to talk of the best.

  3. He is humble & calm no doubt but in terms of percentage performance in the areas listed by his aids I will score him 35% POOR.He should concentrate and do more this first term so that he will deserve a second term. His emphasis now is majorly on his second term re-election in 2015 while we are still in 2013.

  16. I think this question will be best answered by obj, IBB and the brand new PDP. Most Nigerians know only what has been leaked to them, ask those one's n you will find da real score. I personaly rate him 15%.

I can bet bet that most people dat av rated GEJ poorly are poor examiners.Apart frm his style of governance that equitably distributed his appointment across d whole country even favouring d North more he has been able 2 expose those stealing frm Nigeria under d guise of fuel subsidy and he has also tried in d area of gender equality in terms of appointments.I still see him as one of our best presidents ever and I score him above average.btw 60 and 70 percent.

  20. For example, d longest ASU strike was during Obasanjo's regime. He bribed some VCs to re open their schools and ignore ASU. Today the same issue has resurfaced and Jonathan is to be blamed.

  22. GEJ is d best president

  23. Not to add any ethnic colouration GEJ is d worst of all. Rating minus zero. He is the 1st President in Naija history who has been given power n can't exercise it cos of this his been rubish here n there. He surrounded himself with political mediocres. I can't point out a single achievement of his administration just fight even d wife too a fighter. We talk of BH, Yar Adua dealt wt ND millitants during his tenure that is an Hausa man Ijaw man can't deal wt BH given stupid excuses. If he performs well opposition will not be able to face him @ all. Borrow a leaf from Fashola cos after Naija nation na Lagos.

  24. Jonathan is the worst thing to happen to this country since independence .look at the level of corruption, oil theft, insecurity, assassinations, kidnaping etc.he is a global failure

  25. He brought not only badluck but confussion to this country n now he is planning a war by arming his militant thru fraudulent secuurity contracts

  26. I like jonathan for many things because he knows how to promote corruption;the only president that knows how to encouraged criminals in this country called Nigeria! For those who haven’t heard, 43 year old ex-militant, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) on Monday 26th August 2013 received his Bombardier SE60 LearJet (private jet). The Jet according to aviation sources costs a whopping sum of $13.3 million (N2.12 billion)". ..Can you beat that?.An illiterate Militant leader, what's this country turning into? Even Asari has a private jet as well..Power 00000.02%,transportation only in ABJ 000000.00000%,Health (doctors strike here and there)00000.01,Roads 00000.20% and infrastuctural development 0000.10%

  31. Standards are formed in comparison, they say. But such must be amongst similar peers, time or era. Yes one could compare military dictatorships and make conclusions. Compare civil-military style regimes with their kind. D present regime is truly evolving a purely civil democracy headed by an ordinary civilian.
Some promised making d country ungovernable and they ve almost succeeded. Now with their right claim to leadership, they seek to come back. They are lionised becos we r sheep.
Against such a background, what would u say about change. It comes with pains and sacrifice. Methinks all would av been embracing d president if he was doing their thing substantially. Not a perfect civilian administratn,d present adm is doing its best to get out of ds complex maze with selfish interests. I think e should be given a chance. To lay truly civil and life changing directions for ds nation. In any event, the ballot is alwaysa available. The national Assembly shd wake up to b truly a house of honrables.
