Oyo State Governor,
Senator Abiola Ajimobi this afternoon dissolved the executive council of the
state. Source close to the governor said that the governor kept the decision to
his chest as he never showed any sign of relieving his aides of their jobs.
Affected
were the commissioners, advisers and assistants.
Disclosing
this in a statement, the Director, Cabinet, Mr. Dotun Omokemi stated that the
decision was made after the weekly executive council meeting held today.
Governor
Ajimobi was quoted to have said that the development was aimed at injecting
fresh blood into the administration in the quest to serve the state better.
The
governor thanked the commissioners and Special Advisers who made up the
executive council for their contributions so far and asked them to immediately
hand over to the Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries.
P.M.NEWS however learnt that there is a possibility
of returning some of the aides whose the governor still found useful to him.

Hope he reduce the number to save cost for more people oriented projects
ReplyDeleteI respect his decision, at least he knows better why he did that.
ReplyDeleteIs your husband already planning to leave you??
If it had been Gej dat did dis sacking of all his cabinets members and aides, reasons would have flooded the media in a split seconds. Amechi would have danced naked carrying placard to criticise the President. My happiness is dat pple are beginning to see dat d so-called new PDP wit a universal rogue like Atiku are only fighting for their own selfish interest and non of their conditions wil add one penny to an average citizen of dis country.
ReplyDeleteThe number, though not peculiar to Oyo state, is unbearable. They will have assistants, drivers, domestic staff, etc. The governor can set example by reducing this number so that more money could be available for projects that will touch the poor masses.
ReplyDeleteIts true if it were to be GEJ evrybody wl open dia dirty mouth like Amaechi n big tongue Banbagida Aliyu gov.of niger state who v not brush dia teeth to talk God will punish all nPDP
