Boko Haram Beheads Seven People,Slit Another Four Throats

Seven people were killed and beheaded in Makintamari village in Kaga Local Government in Borno state along the Damaturu/Maiduguri road.
Eyewitnesses said the travellers were beheaded with their heads placed on their lifeless bodies on the main road.
At the Makintafamari village, in a separate incident, gunmen also cut the throats of four persons on Saturday. They were returning to Maiduguri in the evening.
Borno Police chief Lawal Tanko confirmed the attacks .
Makintamari is a few kilometers from Benishek where over 100 travelers were murdered a week ago by suspected Boko Haram sect members.
Yobe State Governor Ibrahim Gaidam said: “We call on Mr. President and all the security chiefs, to intensify security operations through aerial surveillance, to contain the situation before it consumes the region and country.
“On our way from Maiduguri to Damaturu this afternoon (Sunday), we saw a trailer and bus that were burnt, with the occupants slaughtered and their corpses littering the highway.
“Government should rise up to its responsibilities to save the lives and properties of its citizens,” he pleaded15.
The governor said that anyone travelling on the Damaturu to Maiduguri highway, was taking a huge risk.
He urged the newly established Seven Division of the Nigerian Army, to intensify surveillance of all flash points in the two states, to flush out the insurgents.

  1. Government alone can do little or nothin to curb the madness perpetrated by the radical Islamic sect (Bk) if the host community are not willing to take the lead to the fight. Its unfortunate that the both the religious/ traditional rulers in the North stood to the ground . The initial BH was percieved to be an instrument to wintch hunt the christians . Consequently they re gone wild n turn to eat even their toe .I therefore challenge the Leaders @ the North to wake to their responsibility thereby wiping off the such a barbaric n dehumanized group. My condolence goes to the families of the slain ones .

    1. May I ask you@6:54 after the Gov declared state of emergency in that state what is the achivement? Of what benefit has this wards got?
It is obvious the government can't do anything to any body. And if the gov whose priority is security can't do nothing let them admit there failure and leave.

  3. It is the "SOLE RESPONSIBILITY" of the FG to provide 100% security for the citizens.if it will take GEJ to spend the money alotted for frivolity on security issue he should pls do. Even if putting an end to BH is the only thing he will achieve and leave other things for the next administration.

  5. they said it dat they will make the country ungovernable for GEJ and they r doing it...if any bodi is doubting dat this BH attachs are not political why have'nt they come to the south to bomb or kill people..bcos they know doing that is one way ticket to divide this country immediately which they don't want..and getting to the south with any of the bombs or to kill is certainly not difficult if they want to. one thing i promise them is this country will eventually be divided and the blood of all the innocent souls they have killed will hunt dem all

  6. The fed govt said the police was not capable to confront the boko haram insurgence; hence the military was invited in. Can anyone tell me the alternative force that will replace the military? May be the FRSC will be used this time. God saves his people. We will not die in the hands of the Boko Haram.-ESEBILO
