Orji Kalu Showcases 400 Bedroom Village Mansion

This is a mansion erected by former governor of Abia state, His Excellency Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu at his home town Igbere. Named after his first daughter Neya Uzor Kalu. The over 400 rooms CAMP NEYA, which is reputed to be the most flamboyant, intimidating and stylish home of any individual in Nigeria was completed in 1998 and Commissioned by former Abia Milad Col. Anthony Obi on May 28th 1999.Over 150 eye popping shots of the most flamboyant piece of edifice in Nigeria, and perhaps the entire Africa. These are not just ordinary everyday pictures but amazing, jaw dropping shots; a painstaking coverage of the the camp, peeping into the most restricted parts of the mansion. High definition shots that will leave you grasping for breath. From the expansive compound, Architectural perfection, bad and detailed interiors you've never seen in your entire life; places you'll never believe existed in Nigeria, CAMP NEYA is more than an edifice; it's a statement! It means different things to different people, but to every sound mind, it's a structural definition of the enigma and quintessential persona ORJI UZOR KALU.

Completed before Kalu's 38th birthday, CAMP NEYA houses over 400 rooms comprising of over 36 jumbo sized sitting rooms, A 12 room presidential lodge, Governors lodge for all the 36 states and FCT, A 5000 capacity Conference Hall, A banquet hall, a Karioke hall, 22 Kitchens, 102 toilets, 76 Bathrooms, 187 bedrooms, A golf course, a foothball pitch, An Olympic sized swimming pool, one indoor swimming pool, Basket ball court, Lawn tennis court, Sports centre, A church, a mosque, a bush bar, a filling station, ATM machines, A clinic, children's recreation centre, an ICT centre, several gardens, A police post, A military detachment, etc. It is amazing, breath taking, overwhelming intimidating and humbling. It is out of this world; a world of it's own!

  1. This is pure madness! Its bigger than some 5 star hotels that generate income and employed people. This piece is just sitting there wasting. The money should have been put to better use than this. How many times will president and governors visit you? When you're gone what will be come of this property? God will judge. The sad thing is after enjoying like this on earth you will end up in hell.

    2. Pls permit me to discribe this in few words-stupidity,vanity and misplaced priority,How many presidents have visited and spent 20minutes ever since the edifice is commissioned in 1999?,same question goes to governors.his kinsmen in the next compound can not afford 3times meal in a day, their kids are out of school for patry sums of money as school fees, the widows in Igbere can not afford single strang of rapper to cover their nakedness, one man is wasting the resources that can rewritte the history and destiny of his people on vanity.
The likes of Bill Gate is investing in humanity while orji is building castle on sinking sand.some thing is indeed not right with the man

  10. This is absolute madness. Ilitracy is a terrible thing. Why would anyone put up a structure like this in his village where there is no economic activity? Is this not share ignorance. Primitive accumulation of wealth in itself has its dowside.little wonder the man is fighting all areas to get back to power, he needs money to fix bulbs and stuff in his mansion. Well it is not yet Uhuru.

  13. @ all u are exhibiting sentimentalism, how much is d cost of Dangotes yatch ? How much is d cost of Mike Adenuga's tomb in lagos ? All u do here is to criticise OUK just b'cos he brought home his wealth to @ least develope his place. I respect Orji 4 bringing home his wealth @ least it has improve Igbere's economy or would it had been better if he built houses in d north 4 Bokoharam 2 bomb or @ lagos only 4 him to wake up and be deported to upper iweka ? I doubt if there is any nigerian who ve individually touch the lives of d needy like OUK........"Orji Uzor Kalu is a true son of the soil as is evident in his situating such edfice in his native home, hence all other Ibo's should as a matter of fact toe his steps"

  14. I congratulate u Orji 4 building such in ur Community rather than what others do. They steal our money and build bigger mansions in other Countries where we do not even hv d opportunity 2 set our eyes on. Our past governors establish industries outside Nigeria thereby providing jobs 4 others but u brought urs straight 2 ur Village which simply means ur pple will hv employment opportunities. God bls u my dear.
